Juliet, most of us Americans aren't loud mouthed window lickers, just as most of you aren't pale- skinned snaggle tooths. As a combat veteran and active duty member of the US Air Force, I tell people that get their information on Iraq from CNN- don't believe everything you see on TV; talk to someone who's actually BEEN there and get some unbiased first handinformation. The same applies to you regarding what we're like and what it's like to live here. If you really want to know, make a post about it, You'll get a pretty broad cross section of what an average American is and what it's like to live here. From there, you can make your own mind up as to weather TopGear gives us a fair shake.

I'm not sure if you're joking about all your posts, but I'm proud to be what I am and live where I live, and at the same time,I'm humble about it since I realize just how lucky I am. I understand that there's some pretty serious stereotypes out there, and I work hard to politely shift people's views towards the truth.

My posts are all meant in light hearted banter ..you guys go on about our teeth for some reason so I pop back with the Top Gear stuff ..I know a few of you on here and know that you live in some really amazing areas over there :-) ..for instance San Diego .. beautiful!! :-)
