I ride to work every chance I get. I figured if I ride to work every day of the work week, it saves me lots of cash...

My truck gets 12 miles a gal, 12 mile commute to work, one way. That's $9 a day in gas. Truck is now for sale. (anybody want to buy a nice Tahoe cheap with remote start? lol)

My VW GTI VR6 gets about 24 miles a gallon when I don't hammer on it, so that's $4.50 a day.

I figure the bike gets me to and from work on 1/2 gallon a day. That's $2.25...so over the course of a week:

Truck was $45 a week just to drive to work...GTI is ~$23 a week and the bike is ~$12 a week...the choice was simple and it makes leaving work even more fun!!

yea everyday is ride to work day for me too!

It makes the drive back to the apt. more fun and less boring

akens got it made sittin at home testing lotion all day

 

We all know we all ride all the time every chance we get, but this is one of those things that you just have to make sure you ride that day. Unfortunately, (and fortunately) I will be on vacation next week; go figure.
