the army is about the same as a 9 to 5 job but SF on the other hand you have no life at all but if i had to do it all over again i wouldnt change a thing

Im in the Air Force right now. I think it pretty much all depends on your job on what you think of it. I wish I had a 9-5 job but it dont really ever work out that way for me. Right now I start work anywhere from 10 at night to 4 am, and I dont get off till the jets are fixed and ready to go.

Overall though it really aint that bad.

You guys is the AF whats your jobs? Where you stationed?

prolly a stupid ? but how hard is it to get into sf. im a bigger guy. 6' 230 and ive kinda slacked off on the staying in shape part but spec ops is something i always wanted to do.

I've always been told to go to college first and this will start you at a lot higher rank than just joining.
Yea man! If you have your degree you can go in as an officer, make a hell of a lot more money then us enlisted guys.

selection kicks your ***, alot of the bigger guys we had go in didnt make it because there body couldnt take it, it just depends really. we had a fat capt. come in with us and he did better then most of us its just what you can put into it and how far your willing to get beat

yeah im sure its no cake walk. what do they do with the guys that dont pass selection? and whats a normal day like. lol, if there such a thing as a normal day.

they went back to there units im not to sure what happens. life here in the states i got into work at around 4 in the morning do pt from 7 to 8:30 the go home for about an hour to eat and shower then come in to work yell at everyon for being dumb about something then go out to the range fire some round we live at the obstacle course were always running it and get off around 6 or 7 at night then deployment life sucks *** always out doing missions there we went 71 days no shower no hot meals that was in dead summer but im not trying to turn you away from any of this its not always work we dork around alot some days we just sit around and bull**** and give the non-combat mos's ****

lol, beleive me you cant turn me off from that kinda stuff. i know its hard stuff but ive always been into that kinda stuff. im not big on 9-5 desk jobs.

im torn between helicopter gunner, security force, or sf. with the air force i can go straight in as a gunner but in the army i think you have to start as a mechanic. air force spec ops doesnt realy seem to excite me much.
