Jeff Gordon defeats Barry Bonds
I was talking with my friend about steroids the other day...
you can't hand a weightlifter a bat and tell him to hit a homerun... but if you take somewho already has the mechanics of hitting a baseball down (like Mr. Bonds did... he was an incredible hitter his entire career) and turn 190 pounds into 240 you are creating a hitting machine.
I am sickened by the fact that this is getting the publicity that it is. Barry Bonds is an ******* for doing this to America. When they write his name in the record books, I hope there's a great big asterisk that also says "steroid user" so generations from now people know the difference.
He's a liar and a cheat I honestly hope that his ********* are so small they are nonexistant (due to the rampant steroid use).

I'm not defending the guy cause I don't care, but has he ever been caught? Sounds like guilty untill proven innocent. Do roids help you see the ball better?

2. Yes. I listen to sports-talk radio ad nauseam and they cited a study where it DOES improve eyesight.
I have not actually read the book "Game of Shadows" but from what I hear it absolutely leaves no doubt that he is a massive cheater. Besides, this is not a court of law so yeah, I think he's guilty.
I agree Bonds shouldn't be singled out. I think many, many of them are dirty, including McGwire, Canseco, Sosa, Sheffield, Palmeiro, Garciaparra, Giambi, Juan Gonzalez, Brady Anderson, Ivan Rodriguez, Caminiti, Tejada, Jason Grimsley, Clemens, etc. etc.
The players are always one step ahead of testing. Isn't it interesting that the players' union won't allow testing for HGH? Hopefully George Mitchell's investigative crew will get something done about this.
I suppose a lot of people thought Pete Rose was "innocent" too because it wasn't "proven in a court of law?"
alot of other mlb guys do the same **** he does. and whos to say guys 30 years ago werent doing something? schwartzanagger was doin roids in the 60s and he was big but compare him to ronnie coleman or jay cutler today they dwarf his *** back then. professional atheletes and hollywood stars make me sick i hope they all die
If you are pissed at Bonds, you have to call into question a decade of baseball players...to include pitchers. What about cycling, "pro" wrestling, soccer/football, and every other sport. I feel that Barry Bonds is a scapegoat for the shame of steriod use. If it is wrong, there should be a stand against all sports. Is it realistic...no. Some sports unions have more power than others. If you want to weed out steroids or HGH use there needs to be a "blanket" policy, in my opinion.
P.S. Didn't Stallone just get busted for 'Roids?

Sorry, I know 'roid use is probably rampant in all sports. I just like to single out baseball because I hate it so much. I think the MLB doesn't really care because they know they are suffering. Next time you watch a game on TV, notice how many empty seats you see in the stadium.
And about the pitchers, Nolan Ryan was one of the greatest ever. You can tell by looking at him that he never juiced, but he still threw a heater over 100MPH. Is there anyone in the league now, juicing or not, that throws that hard?
If they want to make baseball more exciting, I say bring the fences in closer or let them use an aluminum bat, but don't let them juice.

Nolan Ryan was the man -- just ask Robin Ventura...
