They flipped out and tried to scare him by saying the cops saw the videos and where going to arrest him if they saw him again. Which worked opposite because a cop turned his lights on one day and he bolted. Came by his house on his R1 doing about 160 or so with his mom outside. Then they fessed up they made it up.

With the other police thread that is going on here, i was wondering - what do those of you who are cops think of when you see videos like this? Do you wish that you could use the video to prosecute these guys?

I am not the type to be offended by others actions but really it's just flat out stupid what they are doing and it gives all / most of us a real bad name. I would NEVER even CONSIDER riding like that, and I think about 99% of this forum feels the same way.

Just wondering what you LEO's think when you see videos like this. p.s. how can i get my hands on a pba card?! ;-) ;-)

ha - fair enough. i guess we've had the whole cop thing beat to death on the forum.

it just bothers me to no end that these guys can ride like this, post videos, and there is nothing we can do about it. If you want to ride like that fine - just take it to a track where it is at least somewhat controlled and if you hurt somebody else, at least they knew there was potential for something bad to happen to them.

::sigh:: oh well, not much i can do about it.

 

You can only ride like that so long before it gets you. Guys like that give sport bikes are bad name.
