Default I've Found My Next Bike Hauler!

At last...a worthy replacement to my Sport Trac toy hauler. I'm in love with the F150, but this new Super Chief F250 is making me positively drool!

Did you see wtf it uses for fuel???

Using hydrogen, the Tri-Flex V-10 produces 400 lb.-ft. of torque and 99 percent less CO2 than using gasoline.

Tri-Flex engine employes hydrogen, gasoline or E85 fuel.

E85 is composed of 85 percent ethyl alcohol (ethanol) and just 15 percent petroleum.

For those of you who do not know what ethanol is.... it's corn... you freaking engine runs on corn.

Dunno...it's a concept vehicle that was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, but I'm guessing the MSRP will start at $50K to compete with the likes of the Hummer , Denali, and Escalade.

I guess I can look forward to the tax breaks being offered for purchasing alternative fuel vehicles and maybe the little environment friendly sticker will let me roll in the carpool lane all by myself, just like they do for the electric vehicles. Filling it up shouldn't hurt as much since it's not all petroleum based, and going 500 miles without a fill up should be interesting. I think I almost sh*t a brick when I filled up my truck while I was home on leave and that has a smaller tank. Let's say I spent a great deal of time riding my bike instead.

The Super Chief's bed is tiny, but my SportTrac's bed isn't so large either....I just drop the tailgate and deploy the bed extender if I'm only hauling my bike *shrug*. Either that, or a latch up the bike hauler when I have two bikes to tow. Suspect the Super Chief will handle two bikes like a paper weight. A little comfort in a good ol' American ethanol guzzler, and I'll be set. I just want the opportunity to engage that super charger. Can't beat that with a stick
