Default It's never to late....

... to quit your job and go back to school. 4.5 years in an large autobody shop and my last day is tomorrow. 16 credit hours worth of school this semester and possibly 18 or more until I'm done. I'm looking to have my 4 year in less than 2 (I have quite a few pre-req's out of the way) and then decide on whether to pursue an MBA full time or get a job and pursue it on the weekends or something. My major is business management. I don't think I'll do a minor. I just want a job that will allow me to live the way I want. I want track days and lots of them

Good for you man! I believe less and less in coincidence and luck, and more and more in the fact thatan individualcreatestheir own "luck". Education isthe "Concorde" to success in my opinion.

Thats awesome. I have been trying to convince my friends to look into college for the last three years and will probably be doing it for years to come. I graduate the academic year and am so happy.

I don't believe in fate, or that things "happen for a reason". I don't believe that God has a plan for me.

I do believe in going out and doing what it takes to have what I want in life. I don't break the law or take from others in the process either. I advance myself in my career (Lead Systems Engineer and Sr. Architect right now). Education is the cornerstone of all that I've accomplished.

You guys are right. Life is what you make it. I'm happy with my decision.

The more I think about it, the more I feel that some people need to take time to figure out that education is the way. I kept looking at myself and my job and thinking "damn, I'm better than this." I think getting older and gaining maturity helps with school.
