Ok, first, I am the first one to say shoot someone and all that.....most of the time in jest, but don't go round waving a gun, texas or not, you must be threatened with bodily harm. Sure theres loopholes in the system in your favor, but on the other side of the coin those loopholes are going to be decided and interpreted by.....a jury....so, take that for what it's worth. Reasonably, first, file a report to establish the problem, next, hide a camera and catch em, then proceed with reasonable and legal steps. Sounds a bit on the soft side sure, but you don't want to go in the pokey or spend $$$$ in legal fees against some jerk-off, but thats a most likely scenario. In an ideal world, you'd catch him, run out and butt-stroke him a few times, put him through his wind-sheild, and run off with his girl.....but I think the former is a more likely possibility for all parties involved.

They actually make motion activated cameras for people who like to use tree stands to hunt deer. Go to cabellas.com or someplace that sells hunting gear and strap one to an incospicous spot (sorry after two rum n' cokes my spelling is like james') to find that dirty bastard.

BTW I personally prefer a taurus .38, mainly because its more easily concealable

i was told by a friend who has a concealed weapon permit that the teacher of the class told them if u are in a situation, only pull out a gun with intent to shoot and kill them. you dont want 2 sides of the story only yours.if you are going to pull out a gun don't shoot one in the air. that will only get you in trouble. don't shoot someone in the back either because in court its hard to claim self defense or guarding your property when someone had their back to you running away and bullet holes in their back. the camera is a good idea. hopefully you'll catch em. hate when people do stupid stuff like that. when i lived in new mexico i would always come out to my car and their would be rocks piled up on my windshield wiper area. no damage done to the car just an inconvenience. good luck
