Irritates the crap out of me...
Sometimes when I post something, I'll read it about 3 or 4 times before pressing send and the instant I press send I always find a typo that I've for some reason interpolated what I was trying to say whenever ever I did my proofing.
haha i do the same thing. except i dont read it over and over BEFORE pressing send, i end up reading it AFTER i've pressed send. then i notice that my mind was moving faster than my fingers were
I'm a proof reader. I will go over my posts 4+ times before hitting ok to make sure my thoughts are clear and my spelling is as close to 100% as it can be. Sometimes, I open Word to spell check. My average post, such as this, takes me approximately 4 minutes to compile.
when I was in school I never gave a **** but now I have a real job it makes me automatically do a spell check, grammar check, and legal check before it sends so now I have to check everything before I send it
+1
I always catch my typo's right when I am pushing the ok button. Then its a mad scramble to the EDIT screen.
I did not receive as high of an education as most. My first year apprenticeship was my graduation year. Long story short, I have been in the construction industry since I was 17. I am currently 31.
Being self employed has forced me to learn basicgrammer all over again. Not that I am a complete moron
I just have been isolated fromconveying informationother than on the job site. Learning how to interact and get messages accross in awritten form hascreated a new challenge for me.
