Looks good. Flop or blockbuster?

 

im undecided...downeys a pimp, but the commercial hasnt made me say "wow i need to see that"...but then again ive loved pretty much all those super hero movies (except the hulk[&:])

 

The first trailer I saw had the Black Sabbath Iron Man song playing, that got me amped up some. But yeah, I love super hero movies, minus the hulk and a few batmans.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing it, most of the aussie reviewers give the thumbs up, even the ones that hate this type of film. Always been a fan of the Iron Man comics & I love Black Sabbath, although my favourite song of theirs is Fairies wear boots.

Downey is the absolute ****. In my opinion, one of the most underrated actors of his time (have you ever seen Restoration). He will kill it. Hopefully, the movie won't get butchered and left to die on the cutting room floor. I love many of these comic book movies, but the people that make them have to pay a service to the fans of the comic book hero. They don't always come through. I think I like only about half of the movies that have come out. I'll go and see them, but I would never own many of them. I can't wait to see this movie, and I hope I am not dissapointed.

I dig Downey. Hopefully they will pull this one off.

I never do opening weekend on movies and like to hear reviews from the public after the opening and hate the crowds.

Cloverfield is a prime example of why not to do opening weekends, I would of been robbed if I paid 9 bucks for that POS.

 

DUDE! Cloverfiend was and still is awesome. I think we argued about this back when it came out lol
