I am in VA so I can't help out with the yard, but there is a little piece of all of
us that would looove to make that trip. Its been a dream of mine to do a coast to
coast for a long time, good on you, enjoy it - ride safe.

Great stuff with the book in the future too - think about keeping a blog running
during the trip for all the details you may forget later (?).

 

Dude your gonna stink after 2 weeks without a bath.[sm=joke.gif] You might want to mention that you may need to use their shower also, and possibly their ol lady, two weeks is a long time if you know what I mean.[sm=pimp.gif]

I would hvae to classify this as not a ride, but ridesssssss
In my head I see it as 2 weeks of riding but depending on how I feel come day 3-4 it might be a bit longer. plan to cross wv and oh in 1 day and if I accomplish this, I'll be making good time. Its about 450-500 miles of nothing but mountains so I don't know if it can be traversed (w/ luggage) in a day.

 

Prolly leaving for cali this weekend

I rode up to North Jersey from South Florida less than a month ago. Luckily, I had a friend in a car following, so I had a place to crash during the night. Sounds like it's gonna be one hell of a ride man. Good luck and stay safe!
