The arseholes that give us our infamous "crotch rocket" rep.

Thanks artards for continuing to give those of us who don't ride like a-holes a bad name!

But the trend is also fueled — as the video confiscated by the highway patrol suggests — by an apparent competition among riders to post the wildest speed and stunt videos on YouTube. And if it involves successfully eluding the police, all the better. "The more cops that are on you, the better rider you have to be to get away," Segui says. "If you get caught, you're not a great rider."

" Mad Max–like high-speed motorcycles"
I love that qoute. Ignorant reporting mixed with ignorant sensationalism. I doubt a single bike from the mad max movie could even break a hundo , lol.
At least the comments after had some sense to them, particularly the one qouting the NHTSA.
Only accurate bit in that drivel was the pic accompanying it ov a douche leaning against a gixxah, heh. Seriously though, the article could have easily started and ended with "19-year-old rider".

Top speed we've had locally was 322 KPH which is 201.25MPH
Cost the guy $7000 US equivalent.
Bike - ZX 14 Kwacker with enhancements.
Most don't run, but those that do are generally caught..............
We are currently having a law put to Parliament which will allow the Govt to impound your bike at 200KPH - 125 MPH- AND SELL IT. It won't matter if you haven't paid for it yourself, so you'll lose it and still have to make monthly payments.
Stay tuned on that one.
