Intervention
Anyone ever watch this show on A&E? If not, I'll explain:
A person gets addicted to some type of drug.
The family is falling apart.
The drug addict and the family agree to have a film crew to create a documentary on their drug use.
Toward the end of the show, the family has an 'intervention' with a doctor
The addict will then agree (or disagree) to seek treatment.
At the end of the show, you get to find out if the person is successful at breaking their drug habit, or if they die.
It's sad. I'm watching an episode right now and it makes me feel so sorry for these people.
Drug addiction is no joke, and this show makes me thankful for what I have.
That is all.

RE: Intervention
I*ve watched that show with a guilty conscience because I dont like reality tv in general (except a few shows like COPS) but that one seems to be putting peoples most personal moments out there which isn*t anyone elses business .. but on the other hand I guess it helps some people to see what can really happen and the family also signed off on it .. still makes me feel like a peeping tom watching that show though.
Speaking of Intervention, there*s one thread here currently that needs some serious intervention [&:]
