Maybe, just maybe its the pilot that defines the limitations of the bike and not the
numbers....

Fellas, you have to realize that the only reasons that the Kaw rider is here is because #1 I invited him. #2 We all know that his Kaw is an overrated P O S that only looks fast. Let's face it. Kaw went from a ZX-12 to a Zx-14 for what reason? Stupity. They ended up with the ugliest bike on the showroom floor with a 200 c.c. more than the ZX-12 just so it can out run a Bus..or...Busa. The only thing they accomplished is a more expensive, ugly, heavy bike azz that runs the same times as the ZX-12. Kaw really outdid themselves. They went away from the "crotch rocket" big bike and settled for a bike that is shaped more like a Katana, and no matter how you look at it, Kaw copied someone else's idea. They should have stuck with the shape if the ZX-12 at least. Then mabey the CBR 1000's wouldn't make if look so bad as we out run it in the 1/4 mile. I don't think any of the CBR members here are afraid of a 10, 13, nor 14. Cause when it comes to a great riding bike, Honda leads the way!

Errick... Errick... Errick... The fact is that Kawi came up with the ZX-14 to keep up with the changing of time and technology. Look at the ZX-12. It was a nice bike, no doubt about that. But it was more cost effective to develop a beast of a bike from scratch and add 200cc's, not to mention a few hundred pounds and be able to outrun the Busa. If you take a look in history, all things come to an end... the ZX-7, ZX-9, ZX-11, and now the ZX-12. Team Green has a 4 love 'em or hate 'em bikes when talking about performance... the 6R (and 6RR), 10R and 14R.
All of them are worthy competitors as far as performance and price. As I remember... what does Honda have other than the CBR600RR and the CBR1000RR? OH! there's the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird that is in the same class as the ZX-14 that's just as ugly... but less versitile, and isn't even thought of as a bike to try and out run anything at 500#'s 150hp and 119#'s of torque. I mean, c'mon, would you own it thinking that you have one of the baddest bikes on the road or would you be laughed off the set for ridding an 1100XX? Cost effective? The ZX-14 MSPR for 11,500 and the ZX-10 for 11,300. And CBR 1000RR MSRP for 11,500.

CORRECTION 40TH!!!!!Honda has not brought a Black Bird into American Production since 2003. And even then it was a good bike. Not great, but good. That Superblack Bird that you are talking about, and I take it that you mean the 06, if you can find any American Honda Dealership that has it....or has even seen one.....then I will give YOU a $500. And you now have that in writing. I hate it when a Kaw rider that doesn't work in the motorcycle industry tries to tell me about Honda. Then next thing you will be saying it that the CBR does not have RAM Air!

Ok, I read every post (unfortunately). It just sounds like a either ex military or still military try to talk !@#t to a civilian. I am serving currently in NM with the AF and I have more respect for myself than to agrue whether not Kawi is better than Honda. WHO GIVES A @#$T!!!!!! 2 wheels is 2 wheels some have advantages and disadvantges. I think my IQ dropped 10 points after reading this thread.

Try not to worry about the past post. What it all boils down to is if he will put his bike on the like against mine, I will hand him a new hind parts. So If anyone else doesn't enjoy trash writing all in fun, then don't add negative comments about either rider. I am here defending Honda. So defend what you ride, or ride out.
