Ok, before I bought my RR, I had been looking at the 06 R1. Anyways, I stop by the old Yamaha dealership yesterday because they carry more riding gear than the Honda shop and I wanted to see if they had anything new in. The salesman comes up and I'm telling him I'm looking at jackets, etc. He asks what kind of bike do I ride so I tell him. He says "Oh man! You got the big dog!" and goes off on a tangent about how he rode a 600RR that blew his mind after riding the Yamaha's and how the 1KRR is unbelievable! I stood there chuckling as the YAMAHA salesman told me he wished he could buy a CBR without catching flak from his employer. Even my wife said she was gonna look at the sign above the door when we left to make sure it didn't say Honda. A very amusing visit that I just thought I would share. Even the guys who sell R1's for a living secretly wish they had a 1000RR, hahahahahahahaha!
