whats up guys? i have an 08 cbr600rr and im only19! yes i paid every dime of it. anyway i need to change my insurance on the bike because its about 2800 a year! ya that means i would be able to buy two bikes in three years after paying for this. i know this is part of having this bike so young but my question is if anyone knows of any companys i could try and check out, im in california. any help is appreciatedthanks guys.

progressive or geico, state farm.... its funny you bring up about paying for the bike all yourself but here we dont care how you got your bike only that you are a responsible rider ... have you ever ridden a street bike before ?

State farm is one of the lowest..but being in California isn't going to help the cause unfortunately

ya i have been riding for 2 years now and ya this is the first bike i have owned. but i treat her like a baby and always try to be as safe and resonsible as possible. everytime i tell ppl that i got the 08 they try to say "oh daddy helped you?" but ya insurance is a bitch in cali and my commercial lisence maikes it worse but oh well thats what i get for buying what i want. thaks for the help ill make some phone calls and check at all out.

yeah..its about two thousand a year for my 03 600 f4i..i am 17 years old with 2 tickets on my record..im just rocking liabilty now..74 bucks a month. about 800 a year..im buying an 05 RR soon..wonder how bad thats going to screw me over.

I live in socal and I got my bike when I was 19 too. Check with state farm or possibly AAA. I have AAA with full coverage and I'm paying $419 per year.

These insurance questions seem to always come up. We should have a sticky dedicated to this or something.

Wow, I pay $288 a year for full coverage with State Farm. Of coarse I'm 36 tho. They don't write just motorcycle policies, you have to have auto insurance with them first.
