I think its cool seeing so many people from our country come together at one place. Everytime a new president steps into office, there is alot of uncertainty and people become "scared" but it always cools off after a while. I worry more about what I am doing and if I am doing the right things, and I let them worry about the rest.
I posted no derogatory racial comments so theres nothing to have to tolerate. And I don't think it's possible to talk/discuss polotics (ie: president) without getting a little political. Don't understand why everyone is so sensitive.
As far as Mr President, I do believe he can do a good job, but don't believe that he'll live up to everyones expectations. More over I'm scared that we will be forced into things that the government feels is in our best interest. But, nothing we can do about it, just have to wait & see what goes down.

Let's not make this a racial thing ... go somewhere else for that crap! If you want to talk about the peaceful transfer of power without getting political that is fine. But we at CBRF will not tolerate derogatory racial comments.

Hell the last speech/prayer was a damn joke, definately demeaning to white folks everywhere, but it's ok for a black guy to talk like that. what a joke...
This thread does not appear to be all that political but should anyone not be able to discuss the inauguration without arguing politics then I suggest avoid posting.
I am just happy that he's bringing people together, and so far that cant be a bad thing. Watching that many people go watch it was just nutts there were SO many people there its crazy!
I watched it, history in motion, thats about it. I just get tired of all the hoopla, like we elected someone from Mars or something. Hes a man, same as you and me. I hope he blows the doors of the joint and does a fantastic job. Would be stupid to wish him failure. I hope he does well and above all doesn't compromise individual liberties in the name of whats "best" for us.
