Heck, I didn't even take any plastics off the last time I changed my oil. I've paid for oil at the dealer before along with a filter. Cost me 60$ with the Honda filter. Never again.

The air filter thing I've never done, but I do know it requires the removal of the tank.

 

Yeah, just remove the tank and off with the airbox cover. I've taken mine off a hundred times, though, I've never replaced it; just needed to get below it.

 

yeah my first bike was a fortune to get serviced, after the first time i was screwed i started to do it my self, its the only way to go, saves you so much cash.

Yea you seriously got taken. I would go and complain, maybe they mixed up your bill with someone else. Demand to see everything detailed on how they achieved that total. Hell give me there phone number and i will call them for you, thats really sad they did that to you.

 

Must be a little slow at the stealership. The last time I looked at shop rates it was $78 hr. That means my bike never goes to the shop.

 

yeah they got me for 2.5 hrs for 178 for their rates then the rest was in parts

 

The dealer I go to charges $45.99 and does a complete inspection at the same time. You got bent over dry.
