40 for oil and filter and 65 for air filter

40+65=115 300-115= 185....... 185 for an hourmaybe 2 of work...Damn you got robbed...

 

I do it all myself...I simply won't pay garage prices...they are high here too...if you can't do it get a book, it's easy! :-)

I balanced my carbs last year...the gauges paid for themselves the first time I used them plus I took a lot of care to do it...more than the dealers would do here...

they said the oil and oil filter was like 150 the air filter is 99 and the rest is in labor

 

40+65=115??? lol im just playing with you but really where in the world did you go that they charged you that? they had to have done something else for it to be 300 bucks?!

8 bucks a bottle for Mobil 1 Full syn. 8.99 for filter. and 65 for K and N Filter..........

 

drain the old oil out..put new oil in. change your filters..20 minutes worht of work..i just do it myself to save..i had no idea how much i was saving.

 

I learned that lesson real quick when I first bought hte bike. I had no experience working on it and I figured it more than likely needed an oil change. I paid like $50, but still, I felt like I got robbed. Have not been back since.
