I don't normally tell people when I'm hurting, but you guys and girls are like family.
My friend, Ben, best buddy for 23 years, finest boat crew a man could ask for, made the best curry I've ever tasted, honest, straightforward and true. We fished, camped, holidayed together, and wives were like sisters. Best man at my wedding.
One fine human being.
Died suddenly yesterday, no warning.
I was told an hour ago.
I'm totally gutted.

Brother, my heart goes out to you and yours. God, death can be so painful. I wish I could help, but I'm sure you have lots of loving friends and family around to ease the pain. I'm sure you will, but make sure his family are ok, and continue to keep his wife in your life. She's probably going to need some help, too.
