I can't imagine what terrible laws will be made if John "George Bush" McCain is elected. I also dont see how Obama is going to help us if he voted yes to this bill when he first objected to it. doogstar... First off, thank you for your service. I believe in this country. It is the greatest on earth. I am proud of being an American. Are there screwed up laws? Yes there is, but there are screwed up things everywhere.

A slight twist of irony, there, referring to the actual founders as conservative. I'm sure you meant "conservative principles", the supposed belief in God and subsequent moral prefecture. I just don't see anything conservative about owning/releasing slaves, mortgaging your entire life's financial work, signing your name to an effective death warrant, or going to war with the most powerful country on earth. Seems more l i k e radicalism to me.
