Why exactly do people sign their names on forum posts? I've seen it here and on other forums. I mean... We can see the posters name, right in the top left of their post. Like, Jules does it here, and I've seen it EVERYWHERE. Really, is it that hard for someone to look at the posters name or does it just remain anonymous until this one person posts his/her name on their posts revealing their identity and thus no longer being a secret super hero? People are too lazy these days, and I'm no exception, I slept till like 3 pm today.
Not trying to e too big of a douche but I always just thought it was silly to do that in a place where name was not only required, but shown with every post you make.

yea but when you say something totally awesome, that you know people will be quoting hundreds of years down the line, your gonna make sure that bad boys down there

Some peeps have this urge to formalize there posts.
... especially if they are trying to make a long complex point about something or trying to explain stuff that seems very serious ..
