After nine long months I finally got my shizznit together (Insurance, license plate, & fuel tank recall) and am riding my CBR 1000 again! WOO-HOO ! That's all I wanted to say. The rest of my life is still in a rut. I smile alot, however.

 

what year is your 1k that you had a recall. i got an 05 and never heard of it.

 

happy to here it. i had a back in the saddle thread a couple of months ago so i know how you feel. welcome back to two wheels. for some reason it eases the rest of the bull **** in your life dosent it

Did a 400-miler yesterday ! Up to Albuquerque and back. A wee bit o' soreness today. Had twisties, straights, a few thundershowers, blazing heat, varmints, big rigs, and city drivers. Handled it all with care and prudence, and hardly ever went over 100 mph. The ride brought back all those dormant skills. With all the chaos in my life, it is great to be able to focus on just one thing. I'd forgotten how wonderful it is to smell the environment. Things are lookin' up...weather, roads, website, everything is in sync. In other news...I got offered a position as a dealer (table games, not controlled substances) at the casino I work at. It is a great opportunity, and very lucrative. Later, taters. G.
