but ever since Ive dont reviews on dan motos stuff here as well as on 600rr.net

his sales have jumped like crazy.... internet promotion of a item can do a ton for ebay vendors..

i know for a fact that my review of fairing factories windscreens on 600rr.net has gotten him at least 7 more customers
Ah well if you put it that way... Fair enough.

I also thought the rearsets were much more expensive.
Just find another vendor who might like to do it.

Lol. Thats classic. He probably thought it was rude to ask him for free stuff so he felt justified in a rude response :P

i dont blame him at all. there are people on ebay that do that all the time. he has no proof that you will even do a review(not saying that you wont, just that there are people liek that out there)

now, he did handle it a little rough, ill say that. but i wouldnt just go out handing free stuff to people. now maybe a small discount? possibly. but not free

i do custom headlight work and I do free jobs all the time.... (i only charge them for materials)

just to spread the word about something new...

most people who dont do side work or own a business dont have a clue when it comes to thing like this, but in order to push forward with a product sometimes you do have to give it away for a review or such....

the guys at revrush gave a guy on 600rr.net a free set of their rearsets for a review...

When I had items on ebay or craigslist for sale, and someone emailed me to sell the item for cheap, I just didn't respond.

In my own business, as _z_ said I give things away to create new customers. Sometimes, even for existing customers, if I am out of things they need, I give something similar to keep them happy
