You'll get it back. It really wont take as long as if feels it will right now. within a few weeks, you'll be happy again. everyone crashes.. everyone..

I wasdown one time and that was when I first starting riding, I had 600F3 and made a u-turn.... I didnt make it and dumped the bike. It only had 150 miles on it...It was a smokin joes edition and I was pissed. I wanted to sell it right then and there. But I didnt. I kind of know where your coming from.

the main thing you can do is learn from it. Try and find out why you crashed.. ( Im betting on tires) and change the thing that made you crash. The point is, as you already stated, you werent doing anything wrong, so there must be an outside influence. change that factor and you'll be happy again. In fact, you probably wont be happy until you do find the reason. Its the only way your going to get that confidence back.

Drop the 250 buck on a set of new tires, scrub in easy, and your going to feel great again. In fact, I'm betting the bike will have never felt as good as it does with a good set of tires.

What i could give, to have a rashed'08 of my own... You earned that bike, so just keep it, love it and in a slow pace restor it to the original shape; a rash is a sign of somebody that takes guts to ride it no matter what...
