I just read in a article that the 750 lineup might just be ahead of its game. The article did a spread on the GSXR750. They were talking about the motogp class coming back to an 800cc limit. IF, this is the case, then suzuki will be well ahead of the game. They know something everyone doesn't? I would buy a 750 honda. I love my CBR1000F-R, and it's fun, but there's much better.

I'd be willing to bet that next years RR will have the same output as the late model 750's. A 750 would be nice, but I'd rather keep the higher revving 600's or go to a liter.
Not true, the 750 would walk on a 600. The horse that the 750 puts out is about in the middle of the 6 and 1k.
And even though Suzuki is the only one making a 750 out of the big dogs they are still trying to make it as bad as ever they completely revamped it again this year changing quite a few things.

Okay..remember this is only IMO....I personally think the 750 is the perfect size for a track bike. It has the weight and nimbleness of the 600, but more of the power of a 1k; When I was much younger I used to race a Yamahahaha...FZR750R, of course it wasn't a street legal bike. I can honestly say, I have never been able to ride any bike as well as I could that one. The problem in today's market is that there really isn't room for a 750 in the street sportbike world. I am sure that Suzuki realizes that its sales of the 750 are more than likely made up with people who were going to buy a 600 or 1000, and they haven't tapped into a new segment of the market. For the last several years, the gap between the 600 market and the 1000 market has closed so much that there reallly isn't much room for a 750. What that means is that the rest of the big 4 aren't willing to spend r&d and marketing money on what what be a niche bike. You need to only look at this forum to realize that, and the number of times we have posts for 600 vs 1000.....those people on the fence with the 600 or 1000 would probably benefit from a 750, but I don't see it happening. I would say that its more likely that at some point honda will through its hate back into the top speed arena, with 05 Busa sales of more than 10,000 units, and ZX14 being sold before they hit the floor, Honda may decide it wants a piece of that pie. I'd also see the 186 mph voluntary limit discarded in the next few years, most of these bikes simply require a powercommander to eliminate it now, and I see the mfg's wanting that money in there pockets. As for the 750, if they did make one and the bike truly fit between the 600rr and 1krr, i'd buy it and use it strickly for the track.

totally my opinions, but i think that the 750 is the best overall sportbike on the market. it only weighs 5 pounds more than the 600 (from the same company) and the power is well above. it's like having a factory built cheater 600. and with the way that the 750 is putting down the power numbers of the bigger bikes of just a few years ago, it's just an overall awesome bike. it's truely a shame that the other manufacturers aren't capitalizing on this market.

Thats the same thing that I am thinking, but you put it into words better LOL. I'm seriously looking into getting a 2004 or 2005 GSXR 750(I really don't like the tail section of the 06s) I'll probably stick with my F4i until the winter but I'd really like to get something with a little more power but not as much as a liter bike. IMO I wouldn't use all of the power and probably end up hurting myself with the 1000, but like I said before I haven't ever ridden one. I'm going to go to some dealers this summer and test ride a few of them and see what I think. I agree with Honda or anyone else for that matter not want to spend the money on R&D when they are already making other bikes. Suzuki has an advantage with the 750, but its not like the 750 is making them all of their money.

If they stick a 800cc V5 in the VFR it's on. What they did w/ the Rune they should do w/ the VFR. Limited edition, 120 lbs lighter, VTEC, inverted Ohlins forks, Ohlins rear shock, brembo radial brakes. Give me a team and I will happily design one. Base price of $15-20K. Bring back the inovation to the RC line. I love the RC51 but it's a little dated. Same bike since 02. I'll take an RC45!!!!
