I guess they had no choice ... I would have jumped too ..lol
That road probably goes onto a main road and it could get hit at speed by
another car or a big lorry ... they may as well not be in it if that happens

I did that once many years ago up in the snow fields here in our state ..
I was in my 4x4 with my misses and 3 kids on board .....at only 10kph she started piroeting down hill around 2 sets of corners , bounceing several times off the inside embankment ... we must have bounced for about 50 meters and gone 360 at least 5 times before it finally came to a stop ... not a good feeling , especially with my ex misses screaming her fvcxking head off in my left ear the whole time ...

Haha! That chit was funny. I don't think I woulda bailed out, though. (Although, who knows what was just past those buildings.... a huge hill?)
