my best friend rolls around on a 09 gsxr 1000 we razz each other all the time about the bikes but its all in good fun the best tho was when he brought it home he immediatly took off the stock rear plate holder fender cause it just unbolts which is nice, but then he needed to mount the plate some how to the bolt holes, and the brackets from my stock fender (which was removed 08 1000rr) were perfect to put the plate on and mount to his bike for a make shift undertail delete kit looks real good and after we got done i told him " You know man i always knew it would take some honda parts to make a suzuki right" LOL! he laughed his *** off he had nothing to come back with lol., but a sportbike is a sportbike to me i dont hate, im just partial to honda love! and yes i even call them gixxer's just easier to say than G.. S..X..R.. lol kinda like i hear alot of guys callin their cbr's "blades" instead of fireblade or just the full name cbr.... whatever your ridin.

 

I would get a new GSXR1k in a heartbeat. Buddy has one, taken off mufflers (still has cat) and lowered it, otherwise stock and he is in the 9's. They are just crazy fast.

 

That's my reason. I like unique!

 

There's nothing wrong with a gsxr1k at all. I'd own one.... no doubt about it.

Nothing wrong with the bike, Their are douche bags out their whether they are riding a gsxr or not. I see squids all the time on honda...how about the guy posting his bike stolen while wearing shorts/tshirt...dont hate the rider because of the bike, that is just pure ignorance.

Personally I have saw more squids on hondas this year than I have suzukis....and as far as people calling them jixxer or gixxer...get over it, thats like getting angry about someone calling their mustang a stang, or their corvette a vette...

Also I hate to burst your bubble but you are not unique because you bought a Honda...you want a unique bike build one yourself, then it would be unique.
