I set the bike down!!!
I was at the taco bell drive through and went to reach for my food thinking the kick stand was down. It started going and I caught it as the mirror was all over the wall and bent as far in as it could be. I could hear the people behind me laughing, I was so embarrased. I got my food and started to ride away and couldn't stear because the mirror was all up in my bars, I had to stop a few feet later to adjust it. Damn I feel sorry my bike had to experience that. No damage besides the mirror though.

What a bugger mate.... it happens to every one at sometime or other though ...so do not feel too bad...
I could fill pages with things like that , that I have done ...[:-]
It does **** you when passes by or on lookers laugh though ... make's you feel like saying someting back to them ...but what the heck hey ...

shoulda told the people who laughed to **** off...if they ever get the ***** to ride they'll realize it's just one of those things, i about dropped mine yesterday. with one little metal stick holding a 380lb bike up some goofy little thing can bring it down in a second. i think i bumped my kickstand or something but grabbed it just in time before anything touched, about pulled my damn arm outta socket lol

Wanna hear a funny story? I'm a HUGE michigan wolverines fan. My bike is Ohio state colors, scarlet and gray (Michigans biggest rival). I rode my bike into the parking lot next to the stadium to tailgate before a game (against utah) and I dropped it in front of a bunch of michigan fans. Scuffed up the fairing pretty good. About 150 people were laughing at me and telling me '**** THE BUCKEYS and **** YOUR BIKE'

Thanks for making me feel better! I felt like I had done the bike wrong. It was suprisingly easy to pick back up, or was that my adrenaline running and the fact that it didn't go very far.
