Gods, nothing ever felt so good to say in my life! "Effective immediately i hereby tender my resignation." I am no longer an employee of Comcast Cable. I start with Verizon on Dec 12 at double my current salary. I will miss some of the guys i worked with. But i will not miss the hostile work environment.

 

Congrats man. Double the salary is a nice motivation as well.

Actually the only food chain I move up is the IRS Food Chain.

Nothing else changes. Same job (service tech)], no additional responsibilities. Yes, Comcast is under paying their techs that much

Got to do it myself yesterday! 30.11 was the last day under my previous employer, and this was the first day as an entrepreneur. I bought the lorry that I`ve driven for a few years for myself with it`s route and continue the same job "to my own name" as of today.
