I need your prayers (rider down)
Yesterday I got a call from my mom at about 1900 (7PM)
My twin Brother, Oreo (he visits the forum occassionally too) had an accident on his Bike.
He was on his way to his second job, when (details are sketchy still, but apparently) he hit a pothole that ejected him from the bike, and he hit the guardrail during his tumble. He was wearing full gear, but the guardrail was in disrepair (as is evrything else about the roads in farking Puerto Rico, hence the pothole) and there was a piece of it jutting out, that impaled into him, puncturing a lung, and breaking three ribs on it's way in.
According to my family he suffered no other injuries, and he never lost conciousness. another motorist stopped by and used Oreo's cellphone to call 9-1-1. He underwent surgery yesterday, and was already concious last night again after surgery. Both Mom, and My Mother in law spoke to him very briefly yesterday, and will go and visit him today.
I haven't been able to talk to him yet, and am still a little shaken up by the whole thing. (It wasn't untill last night at 2300 that I found out he was going to be ok)
So oviously yesterday sucked.
The bike was towed by the police, and since Oreo and myself are the only ones that like bikes on our family, it will probably stay there until Oreo is well enough to go and pick it up. (I am out of state, and can't help right now) status of the bike is un known at this time.
I am so stinking frustrated, being overseas, and not being able to do anythingto helphim.
