Here in Cali all you do is go take the written test, like 25 qeustion's, for me it was a 6 test marathon cuz I already had a "class C" car and a "class A" commercial lic so the bike lic ( M-1)was an endorsement I had to add to the commercial lic and since I did not add the bike lic within 12 months of gettin my com lic I had to take ALL 6 writtintest adding a tankers endorsement on the way over again [:@]so any way, you take a little writtin test,you can ride durring daylight hours only, no freeways, and no passengers, all by yerself and any time after that schedule a skills test at the DMV, you ride around in a little circle, do a back and forth thing between some dotes on the ground, you cannot put yer feet down, go out on the street, stop at a stop sign, go thru a couple gears, yer done, I forgot b-4 you start you have to know where the signal switch, choke ( if its carb) hand brake, foot brake, all without lookin or hesitating like yer not sure, the tester that tested me said he failed a guy cuz he did not know where the choke was on his "Fuel Injected" bike, all he had to say was "its a fuel injected bikethere is no choke" apparently the examiner felt the guy did not know his own bike [&o]

JZ...you really don't have any of those things on your bike? I don't doubt your ability to ride, but youcan't be legal, I wouldn't think. I wouldguess you're setting yourself up for a visit from the man.
