Default I love my bike, But...

My right hand is constantly falling asleep! After about 20 minutes, my throttle hand is so messed up that I have to pull over and let the feeling come back. Sitting upright on the bike keeping my weight as far back as possible still doesn't help that much either. I try to hold a loose grip but it still doesn't help. Am I getting carpal tunnel? Does anyone else have this problem? How do I make it go away? Any good attachments I can buy?

I love riding, but this is taking all the fun out of it! [>:]

i feel your pain.

some people say bar ends make a difference (weight/vibration i guess). i switched from stock to vortex and no huge difference.

i dont get it as often as i used to, it could also be the WAY your gloves make you hold the throttle. i know when i wear my leather gloves vs. my winter A* gloves it tends to happen a bit more often. when my hand goes numb, i lift my four fingers (leaving my thumb under the throttle) and rest them on the brake lever w/o putting tension on it or pulling it. it helps a great deal.

I used to have that problem, my case was how I was supporting myself with my arms and shoulders instead of legs and abs. Helped a lot changing that. Now I only get it on long highway trips (cause I get lazy), and when it does I just use my left hand, lol. Kinda weird at first but you get used to it.

A buddy of mine has one of thosethrottle-restsand said he's never had a problem since. I thought I had carpel tunel for a while... sucks.

I might just get a throttle rocker. Sure it looks ghay as all hell, but it might spare me some pain.

PS:

Isn't it funny how we're all online in the middle of a friday night talking to each other and not getting laid/drunk/STD's?
