Default I love biking out to here ....

..Lake Vyrnwy that is :-)

I got out here a couple of weeks back and spent the morning around the lake
taking pictures under a beautifully clear and very blue sky ...

I will let the pictures do the talking ...

You just gave me a new goal in life jules. I need to make it out there to ride with you sometime. Those pictures are amazing but you should carry a point and click camera to people can take a picture of you with your bike once in a while

My God Jules!! How do you get your blues to show up so... well, blue!!?? More beautiful pictures.

What is that little castle-like building for?

Why it's a fairy tale castle of course ..lol

Actually it's the "Straining Tower" :-)

The trick to these blue skies is to actually shoot when the sky is really blue ..lol ... no seriously, so many people take pics in even slightly overcast conditions or too late in the day when the sky is too bright and burns out ... I get these skies by taking the pics early on in the day, during the morning so I can expose for both land and sky and it gives richer, fuller colours :-)

Wow. Very beautiful scenery.
I'm not jealous, though...
