Tuff trade to be in. It as been years since I did roofing. It's like tying your shoes all day long in an oven. But hopefully your using a staple gun, hand nailing bites the big one.

I feel ya man!

Did a roof a couple yeards back. Stripping was the absolute worst.

How big was this roof if you were able to do it in a day? Were there a lot of people or do you old guys just throw shingles like mad?
Two old guys only. about 400 square feet first day, only have membrane down now, can't shingle until inspection. Today 500 sq.ft, we have those shovels with the teeth to get the old roof off and he got a nailgun. Florida code is now nails every 6 inches.

It is 6am now, I need coffee and Advil. If I die of heat exhaustion or a stroke today,give my bike to one of the F2 drivers out there.

I will miss you all.

Roofing sucks!!!!!!!! I'v helped with a few of them and I did not like it one bit plus me and ladders do not get along LOL! Relax and you'll be fine. It's jobs like that-that make me not mind my stressful office job so much.
