lol, so i love dogs. w/o a doubt they really are mans best friend. i've always grown up w/ golden retrievers (my moms favorite dog) and i love labs/retrievers the most. just all around excellent dogs and cute as hell.

so, me and my g/f are anxious to move out of our rental (kickass house, but rental and no pets allowed) in May so we can have a dog. she's always had smaller dogs so she isnt sure about getting a yellow lab. but i just showed here this pic....and i think i won, hahaha! i told her theres no way she'd tell me to take this dog back where i got it from. (pic below).

so all of you (Jared, Fox) who keep posting up threads about getting dogs are making me jealous. i've always had a dog in the house until i moved out and i miss it. cant wait to move out and get a pup.

i've just never had to deal w/ the whole house/yard training and dont chew everything in the house training, as my mom always rescued/adopted golden retrievers that had already been trained. so im not looking forward to that, lol. but i cant wait to get a house that we can have a pet in.

I love my retriever too ! He's calm cool and collected, really a man's best friend. No matter what, he's always happy to see me

^ choc. lab? those seem rare. i hardly ever come accross people who have choc. labs. but labs/retrievers are THE best dogs w/o a doubt. plus i want a yellow lab b/c i love water dogs.
