Default I had a crash.

I just started from a light with a few cars infront of me. I was making a left and glanced to my right cause that car got close and when i looked forward again i saw a light sand color on the tan road. I was doing maybe 15mph and tried to get it a little straighter and before i could BAM down i went. My frame sliders will be here monday(whooptie do). Other than that i need to replace 3 fairings. I had all my gear on except proper riding pants. In maybe 5 feet my jeans were done and through the skin. I will post pictures in a few minuets.

All the damage is cosmetic. Thank god. as for the frame sliders i ordered them about a week ago. I got a shogun kit.

Glad to hear you are in one piece. Bikes are replaceable, not body parts.

Thanks for the not so delicate reminder to watch for sand, gravel and even ice this early in the riding season. I hope your injuries heal quickly. I had the spring lowside two years ago. The parts were really reasonable for OEM plastic.

Damn son that sucks. It was a real pretty bike. I hope a quick recovery to both you and your ride.

look on the bright side it is just your fairings, just bite the bullet and buy them asap so you don't have to think about it too much.

It was a nice bike, and still will be.

I am sure it is sore but looks like minor superficial injury (?) Hope it heals quick. Your bike seems still ridable too. So now make sure you put the sliders on before you fix your fairings

is this your first time going down? if so, welcome to the club. remember as you limp around on it for a couple of days, pour hydrogen peroxide into it, and rub neosporine (sp) onto your wounds, that a lot of people don't walk away from wrecks and it could have been a lot worse.

glad your okay and that your bike (for the most part) is okay too. sucks that the jeans don't hold up doesn't it. get well quick. get back up on two

ps - as for the frame sliders.... dont feel so bad - they're called frame sliders and not called fairing sliders for a reason.
