Anyone for being at a stoplight at a major intersection with loads of onlookers when.....ziiiiiiipppp, your boot starts to slide outward slowly or fast which is about the worst.... Keep an eye on your environment out there, oil and all...

Managed to save it by pulling up a few feet, so I'd rather be lucky than good obviously... learned that lesson years upon years ago!

Odds were in favor of her being on the ground... [>:]

I use to have this Kawi KZ400 or something like that in '91; my first street bike. Well I dropped it twice.

First time was on a rainy day. I pull into this Shell station on 25th Ave & 94 in Sandy Ghetto. I pull undercover, pop the gas lid and check to see how low the gas was. I didn't need any so I go to take off and the oily concrete was so slick that the back tire spun out from underneath me and I lost hold of the front bake as the bike was dropping. Needless to say the bike dropped only after I hit this crack b!tch's car dead on with the front tire, dented her door. Gave all my info, but she never did anything about it. Must have used my info as rolling paper

Second time, same bike, it was raining. I was taking Market St. back to 32st NavStation had some DH broadside me at an intersection. Bike was totaled I was laid up in the hospital for 3 weeks.

After 15 year break, I'm back for some more. You can bet your a$$ you won't see me out in the rain!
