Default I did 155.71 mph

In an Indy car at Chicagoland speedway. Yesterday I did the Mario Andretti Indy Racing experience at the Chicagoland speedway and I drove the car to 155.71 mph, it's limited to 5K RPM or it would have went a lot faster. It was pretty crazy to sail the car off into turn one, hitting the banking compressing you in the seat, having the G force throw you to the outside and trusting that the car will stick. I was hoping the car went faster but it really was an opportunity of a life time. I recommend to to everyone.

Awesome, I've done a couple of those myself. Quite a fun ride.

To my knowledge I'm the only guy to get a lifetime ban from the Richard Petty Driving Experience here in Orlando and I believe am the primary reason the cars got mechanically restricted.

When I first saw the thread title, I was thinking " stupid R Dub". lol. That's cool. I always wanted to do that, but I don't know if I will ever be able to drive at 155. Must have been so much fun!!

Good that is the reaction I was going for. I bet you could do it. It really wasn't bad. A little intimidating at first but as you get used to the car it gets better.

Here are some pics. I drove the yellow #17 car (the guy in the red shirt and black hat is not me)

Yea but I totally slung shot the pacer/blocker on the last lap and beat him to the line by 2+ cars. Totally worth it.

Sounds like fun. I'm curious what they charge for an experience like that.

Their website says it $365 but don't ever pay that. I'm not sure what it cost because my fiancee bought it for me for a Christmas present but she got it off off Groupon or Living Social and I want to say she paid about half that. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it well worth it? YESSSS!
