You all probably think I'm strange for saying this ... but motor racing or bike racing has never done anything for me ... much as I love my bike I have no interest in bike racing ... I can appreciate it and the skill but it just doesn't interest me ... am I the only biker who deosn't like racing? .. lol

Yes. J/k . on a side note, I was actually suprised at how many grizzly harley dudes were at the DAYTONA 200, and really into it

 

Now gearheads come in all shapes and sizes and all brands just wait till BMW really starts cranking it out. Maybe we will all have to become politically correct LOL

 

heh, i dont watch much racing either..i would rather be out riding then watching it on t.v..welcome back btw.

 

I get bored out watching it on tv. They'll either focus on one guy for 50 laps or put the camera on a turn and watch everyone make it, then the guy in the lead is almost half way around the track. The annoucer frustrate me cuase they will either talk so fast you cant understand them or they'll talk small fragments and long pauses.

Now being there is great. Of course I've only been to nascar races, which it good cause you can see the whole track and everybody but does kinda get boring. F1 would suck cause there's no way to see the whole track.

 

Thank you Jason :-) ... yes that's it exactly I think ... I would rather be out on my bike and enjoying the road and scenery than watching racing ... I find watching it on tv especially boring because the camera always pans with the motion so they don't even look as if they're going that fast .. I am sure it would be much more exciting to actually be there and I might even enjoy that but I just never think about it. Here's what I find funny/strange ... you buy a car you like/love and no one then asks "hey do you watch the racing?" ... but buy a bike and everyone and his dog assumes you're just into the racing .... noooo .. lol ... I just like riding my bike, end of.
