I've had the f4i for about 4 days now, and my mom just got back from a trip, so naturally she wanted a ride on the new bike.
So I decide to take her around the block a few times, down some backroads and such. Only problem is...Im still waiting for my plates in the mail, and the title to the bike from the guy I bought it from.

So Im going along down some backroads in our rural neighborhood, no plates or registration, and decide to open it up a little down a straight. When all of a sudden I see none other than Johnny Law poking out from a side street. I procede to nearly s*** myself and after I pass the cop, I turn onto a side street expceting the cop to follow. So Im panicking seeing as I have no liscene plates, was speeding, no proof of insurance, and no registration with me. I look in my mirrors expecting to see red and blue...BUT THE COP JUST KEEPS MOVING. He goes on his marry way down the street like he didnt even see me.

Seriously...either he was late for something or was having a really good day. Im not a religious person...but I thanked god right then and there.

Just wanted to share with yall, I thought it was pretty funny story. I think im going to wait to ride till tomorrow when I get my plates

 

I am willing to bet he would have gone easy on you if he would have found out that was your mom on the back.Was your mom wearing gear?

 

Yeah, some cops are spooked by parents and just give warnings instead of tickets. Be careful with yer mom on the back though, don't wanna get your parents too worried about ya.

 

Yea I have a no gear, no ride policy. Even going around the block we both had leather jackets, helmets, and jeans on.
