Reminds me, I need to pick up a better helmet than my old CL-12 HJC. Damn, that thing is the only helmet I've ever had, and I've been riding for 6 years. I'm leaning toward Arai, because I like the fit, and they come highly recommended. Rockhard could be the best out there (which I doubt), but I'm not the kind of person who needs a flashy lid. Call me crazy, but I'm a little more concerned with protection. The Rockhard has DOT and SNELL approval, so it can't be junk. I feel better with a known name, though.

yea, im just worried that it isnt quality. My friend told me rockhard is mainly known for their off road helmets so even tho they are DOT and SNELL approved they might not be the best street bike helmets out there.

I think a MX helmet made to bounce off a tree would be just as good for the streets...

yeah that argument had no logic, a MX helmet is made to be beaten around a lot more than a street helmet, you're sposed to throw most street helmets away after simply DROPPING them (though who ever does?) I would say this would be a great crossover brand, with a lot of quality
