A hundred ways to crash...whats your pet fear?
A couple of vids to remind yu's .....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7x-m...eature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08xyn...eature=related

We all prolly have some occasional thoughts as to how we would prefer not to come crashing down in a heap ...
You do not have to have had a crash or anything , but I bet a few things still run through your minds every now and then about crashing??
My personal pet fears, all of which I have had happen to me a few times are , in order of my worst preference's ..
1/ Front wheel loose in a high speed bend , going flat on yu guts face first !! with the bike spinning madly still with you
2/ Doing what we call a Flying W ..where the rear slides , then sticks again causing the bike to catapult you up in the air clear over the bars like an ejector seat, and then splat with the bike following close behind trying to squish me ..
3/ High speed flat front tire .. only had 1 serious one of them at over 180klm per hr(110+mph) , along time ago that I by some miracle managed to pull over still upright ..
I do not want to repeat that event ..EVER again ..
What is your pet fear ... or your worst nightmare-ish way to come crashing down... ?

Personally It all scares the **** outa me!
It ain't morbid Steve ..LOL ...a little fear is what helps keep you on 2 wheels I recon , ....because sure as hell if you are worried or have a concern about front ends letting go for instance , you are gunna watch out that you don't push it too far in corners... and that's a good thing ...

Well Steve , if it comes to the front end lettin' go or the rear , i guess I'm more scared of the rear end going and then gettin' a grip.
High sidin' , or is it a 'Tank Slapper?' Either way , can't see a way out of it
At least if the front end goes , there's not so far to fall , 'High-siding' , your gonna come down HARD!

Mine would be this: I saw this on one of those Police reality reenactment TV shows, happened in Newtown in Sydney.
Guy riding along on his bike, gets forced to the side kerb of the road by a semi driver ( who later turned out to be on mobile phone at the time), loses control & gets thrown underneath the truck wheels. Truck driver didn't even notice, identified as the culprit by the blood & skin found under the back of the truck.

Deer and cagers in a hurry to make left turns are about tied for the first place spot on my Oh S#$t! List. Around here both of those unintelligent creatures are the main cause of soiled undergarments. They both idiotically jump out in front of you and cause massive unhappiness.
Between the two deer are harder to spot but your much more likely to survive hitting one of them than the average buick so they are about tied.
