hey ffingers, a buddy of mine has a R1 and the rear hugger is the same as the RR's (strictly a hugger and NOT attatched to a chain guard). im sure the RR one wont exactly line up w/ an F4i swingarm, so maybe see which one would come the closest and fab. it from there.

hmmm....i wonder if i would be doing any structural damage by putting holes in the swingarm in that area???......because i am sure it wouldn't be hard to shave it down to fit and then just fab some mounting holes....

is the rear tire width different from the rr to the 01 f4i?

Tire, no, but I dont know about swingarm measurements.

You have a picture of it so I can see how your sub and swingarm and all come together?

scracth that, i see a problem with doing it already! the rr has an upper bracing portion of the swingarm which is where the hugger attaches....since the f4is don't have that...it would be a lot lower and likely the curve wouldn't match....hmmm...

Thats what I was thinking when I said not enough clearence. I think from where it would mount, it would almost shoot straight towards your tired.

Check into a ZX10 hugger or something, They have high archs .
