i was planning on signing up for the honda riders club for the road side assistance part for like 40 bucks a year or what ever it is. i was wondering if anyone has this and if its worth it. thanks alot.

 

i got it when i bought the bike but i have never had to use it yet thankfully. all i know is that its like insurance: nice to have, but just sits there

 

I've had it for years - and have use it several times; once when I ran out of gas on the way home from work. Used the towing portion a couple of times to have one of the bikes towed to Honda and just last year when I had a flat in Reno. It's worth the $40 just for the peace of mind. Most of my experiences were very positive. The Reno one took 4 hours to get to me, but once he got there the guy was very curteous and very helpful.
