I'm looking at the possibility of moving to Phoenix so buying a house can be a reality for me. But I am so apprehensive about leaving Sunny San Diego and the most perfect riding weather behind. Riding is a very important part of my everyday life and it will greatly influence were I move to.
Is there life outside San Diego, lol??? Does it get to hot to ride in Phoenix? To cold? And for how long? Do you guys have to park your bikes for a while because of the weather? Is lane splitting out of the question? Are there popular day rides the locals go on? Has anyone ever regretted moving there?

Bren, welcome to the forum. Post some pics of the ride; I assume that's your 600RR in your avatar? You should get a few replies on this question. We have a couple members from there on here. We also have a female section if you haven?t found it yet.

 

My inlaws just moved to Phoenix -- wooo hooooo Seems from their description that you gotta leave the windows cracked on the car or it'll explode -- I love it Of course winter riding there is prolly outta this world except it's all straight lines until you hit the mountains. Real estate is getting rediculous out there though -- for twice as much $$ they got about 1/4 of the house they had here in GA and almost no yard[:'(]
