i know it is worse in other cities but i just paid $3.50 a gallon. that is b.s. how much is it where everybodie else is from?

 

around here its at 3.05 for premium. expect it to raise another 10-15 cents before the weekend and during it. they always try to charge an arm and a leg on holiday weekends. then drop it back down but its still gonna be 5 cents more expensive than before the holiday weekend jump. thats what they do. raise it lot lower it a little. trying to get us used to paying high prices.

 

Just got out for a ride over lunch and saw $2.99 for regular and $3.39 for premium. I am in south central PA. Glad I filled up 2 days ago for $2.79!

GA got cut off from the pipeline due to the storm. Yesterday everybody panics and the fockers gouged 'em for over $5.00 a gallon. Prices fell today to around $3.00. I laugh at all the stupid focks that got ripped off yesterday. Must suck to be a frikkin lemming. I mean if we really do run outta gas -- where did they think they were gonna go with those 10 gallons? Ya, they felt so bad about gouging the idiots that most stations limited you to 10 gals.

 

I left the house today at 10:30 and the gas station across the street had regular at $2.79 a gallon. By the time I got home at 2, they were already up to $2.99. A 20 cent increase in under 4 hours. I'm glad the bike is filled up already. I just topped off the Neon before it got any worse.

Here in the Sacramento area this morning it was about $2.99 for regular unleaded and $3.30 or so for premium....but it will change again I am sure

 

Central Montana at about 2 PM: diesel was $2.98, premium $3.06. Didn't notice the other grades. What's irritating is that they are pumping gas that was making them a profit at $2.74 two days ago. At least they could wait until a truckload of the expensive stuff gets here before jumping the price. I suppose, though, it's an effort to cut demand so supplies will last longer. Unfortunately it's a strategy that impacts those with lower income far more than it does those with higher rather than treating all equally.
