just got my new rear tire in the mail and was wondering about how much it costs to have put on.

 

If you can bring in the wheel off the bike it will be much cheaper. Anywhere from 10-40 bucks.

 

Hell it only costs me 30 bucks with it still on the bike.

Wow, that all seems really low. I think my local shop charges 20 or 30 for the moutning, but another 20 or 30 for the balancing.

 

here in sac. i went and had both the front and rear tires put on brand new . taking my bike to them with their tires it costed me 40 for the front and 50 for the rear that was with mount and balancing .

 

Holy horse ****; do you get to have your way with the receptionist while you wait? buymoto.com in San Diego; it costs $15 for mount and balance per tire if you bring the wheel in, $30-35 per tire if they have to pull the wheels off.

If I had to pay $40-60 per tire (off the bike) I would be getting one of those tire changers and a balancer for sure!

 

take the rim off.. bring it in there and it should be 20 or less.. if more.. complain!

 

I paid $65 with the wheel off the bike. The next time I changed the front and rear myself and took them to the dealer to have them balanced thinking that couldn't cost too much. They charged me $54 to balance the two of them. Now I change and balance them myself.

 

Shop near me told me $70 each on the bike not buying tires from them. But I got both front and rear Qualifiers for $250 shipped and my buddy that works at a different shop mounted and balanced them for free. I think I got a pretty good deal.

Btw- The Qualifiers, I LOVE them.
