We used to do that with gatorade bottles + Werks(hydrochloric acid) and aluminum like we learned in chemistry, it would blow up big like that, but we always skrewed the cap on and threw it right away =P.

WOW i had a dry ice go off in my hand b4 but not like that. it hurt but i was ok. there mistake is they used 20X the dry ice u need. all u need is a little chunk not 50 chunks.
so how mine blow up in my hand. i made one with vary little ice and water and i throw it and it did not go off so i when peace of s#it and left. like 30 min later a say it on the floor and i picked it up to open it and BOOM it blow up. my had was just red and thats all. it felt like a smacked someone *** realllllly hard.
