How long would you wait on a item that you aready paid for but hasnt showed up yet from an individual from here? A new member at theat.

I bought a set of seats from a guy off here, paid him, and last I heard from him was nearly two weeks ago when he said he had shipped the seats n would email me the tracking #'s the next day. Well no seats, and I cant ride which is worse than the loss of money. Now I am afraid if I order another set his will show up. [>:]

 

Last you heard from him was 2 weeks ago?!!?

Has he posted since on the forum?
How did you pay (hopefully paypal using the "pay for goods" option)?
I'd say that is long enough. Have you tried contacting him since?
(I've been lucky, knock on wood, and have'nt been burned yet when buying online)

If he doesn't reespond, tell us who it is.
BTW, what kind of seat was it (F4i single seat, or are you doing the2001 dual seat conversion?)

 

he last logged in on the 5th. I left he a couple PM's n sent a email via the forum the other day. And trust me they dont show I will let ya all know who he is lol. I know USPS can be show some times but geez. Yes I paid thru paypal, he gave me a good deal n even refunded half because a tab was broke off the front seat.
And yes its the f4i split seats, they are all I like to have it done. For now anyhow, plan on getting a nice undertail later on, cant afford one atm tho.[&:]

That might have some bearing on why it is taking so long.

I'd say 2 weeks is the outer edge of reasonable. but 3 weeks is not.
If by the end of this week he hasn't at least responded with an email... I'd drop the hammer on him.
But give him this week to respond. hopefully it will work out.

 

Hes shipping from Cali vis USPS I assume. Last I chatted with him he has shipped n estimated 3 to 4 days until I got it, and that was last weekend. Hell my seat covers have arrived n they had to be made lol. I hope they do show up, was a hell of a deal I most likely find again, not to mention he seemed a upright guy wanting to get a bussiness going and all. Not a goos start IMO but maybe theres a good reason.

 

Even if he got them out by Saturday, since Monday was Columbus day it's possible they're still on the way. Chances are good he used Parcel Post which takes forever and a day, but if you don't see them Monday, Tuesday at the latest, start a fire.

 

I hope so lol, My new tail light has a ETA for tuesday and I was ready to ride - 2 weeks ago lol

 

I ordered a Flogging Molly shirt (sent via usps)like 5 weeks ago and waited three week but it never showed. Figuring it got lost in the maili called thestore and they sent me another one via ups and got it in like 4 day. But the kicker is guess what showed up today? Thats right the one they shipped out like 5 weeks ago. Point is you can never really tell with shipping sometimes its fast and sometimes its not

 

yea I try to keep that in mind n be patient in all but its hard when its holding me up from finishing. Tho its a good lesson in patience, one to been patient enough to wait for all the parts to came in b4 starting to swap, and now wait to finish because I wasnt lol. This has taught me lol.
